Toast of Surrey Business Awards 2016 entry deadline extended

Surrey-based businesses have been given extra time to submit their entries for the Toast of Surrey Business Awards 2016, with the deadline extended until Friday 12th February.

It’s a busy start to the year for businesses across the county, with firms vying to be a part of one of the most prestigious events on the Surrey business calendar.

The ceremony’s International Trade award category is being sponsored by Surrey Chambers of Commerce, the county’s largest independent not-for-profit business support and networking organisation.

The group represents the interests of 1,500 Surrey businesses, employing over 55,000 professionals.

Louise Punter, CEO, Surrey Chambers, said: “Surrey is one of the most successful and productive areas for business in the UK. It’s a county that embraces innovation.

“We connect more than 5,000 people every year, providing a range of high quality services to help you grow your business, increase your contacts and obtain the right kind of support for your professional services.

“Our membership represents every sector and working with our partners, we work hard to ensure that the continued growth of the area takes into account the needs of business.

“We believe successful Surrey companies have much to gain from trading in the international marketplace.

“The international trade team at Surrey Chambers of Commerce provides friendly, professional advice and assistance to help businesses looking to expand into new overseas markets. We can help you make the most of our international network.

“That’s why we’re sponsoring the International Trade category at this year’s Toast of Surrey Business Awards, because we want to celebrate those local companies who are already putting Surrey on the global map.”
